What is BGE Artist Hub?
BGE Artist Hub is an all-in-one website builder, press room, document creator, opportunity board, resource center, learning center, and business toolkit.
Who can use the platform?
Artists, musicians, models, photographers, painters, managers, churches, nonprofits, small businesses, families, and other professionals may use the tools that fit their needs.
Do I need technical experience?
No. Public pages, links, press stories, community posts, and documents are managed through guided forms.

Accounts

How do I create an account?
Choose Create Account, enter your name, email, and password, then use the dashboard to edit your public page.
Can staff members have different permissions?
Yes. The owner can assign administrator, moderator, website manager, document manager, advertising manager, billing manager, or custom roles.
Can an account be suspended without deleting its files?
Yes. Administrators can suspend access while preserving the website and stored records.

Advertising

Where can advertisements appear?
The system supports top-banner, sidebar, footer, community, and public-profile placement records.
Are sponsored placements labeled?
Public ad placements should be clearly marked as Advertisement or Sponsored.

Billing

Can prices and payment IDs be changed in admin?
Yes. The owner can edit plan prices and assign Stripe Price IDs and PayPal Plan IDs.
Can free users still create a page?
The starter configuration includes a free plan with a basic public profile and selected features.

Church & Nonprofit

Can churches create donation acknowledgments?
Yes. The library includes a charitable contribution acknowledgment template and may be expanded with annual statements, in-kind donation records, pledge forms, and volunteer forms.
Does a receipt automatically make a donation tax-deductible?
No. The organization and donor remain responsible for tax status, substantiation, and applicable rules.

Community Board

Who can post opportunities and articles?
Posting permissions can be limited by membership plan and moderation rules. Public visitors may browse published content.
What types of posts are supported?
Opportunities, referral requests, professional recommendations, educational articles, and announcements.
Are posts reviewed?
The administrator can require new posts and press stories to enter a moderation queue before publication.
Can I mark a listing as paid or unpaid?
Yes. Use the compensation field to disclose payment, rate, negotiability, or unpaid status.

Custody Records

Are custody worksheets court orders?
No. Custody worksheets, exchange records, parenting logs, and expense records are general planning and recordkeeping tools.
Can a form change an existing custody order?
No. Only the appropriate court process can modify a court order.
What is a Custody Exchange Record?
It records the scheduled time, actual time, location, people involved, belongings exchanged, communications, witnesses, and factual notes.

Documents

Can I print and download documents?
Yes. Completed documents can be printed, downloaded as PDF, downloaded as a Word-compatible file, duplicated, and stored privately.
Are templates legal advice?
No. Templates provide general information and starting language. Important or state-sensitive documents should be reviewed by a qualified professional.
Can I add new templates later?
Yes. Authorized administrators can create templates, guided fields, disclaimers, safety levels, and new versions without changing code.
Can moderators see private documents?
Ordinary moderator roles do not receive access to member documents. Access should be restricted to the account owner unless a special support process is added.

Learning Center

What is the Learning Center?
The Learning Center contains short lessons, optional videos, related templates, and material that may be free or restricted to paid plans.

Legal Notices

Can the site show a disclaimer when someone first visits?
Yes. The Legal Notice and Consent Manager supports first-visit popups, banners, registration policies, and feature-specific notices.
Can policy versions be stored?
Yes. Policies include a type, version, effective date, display mode, and acceptance setting.

Payments

Which payments are supported?
The admin portal includes Stripe and PayPal settings. Cash App Pay may be available through Stripe, and Venmo may be available through PayPal, subject to merchant eligibility.
Can I use test mode before accepting real payments?
Yes. Both gateways include sandbox or test settings before switching to live credentials.
Are payment credentials visible to moderators?
No. Billing permissions should be limited to trusted owner or billing roles, and secrets are stored encrypted using the application key.

Press Room

What can I publish in my Press Room?
Publish press releases, announcements, awards, certifications, interviews, events, media coverage, new projects, or links to outside articles.
Does the platform write my press release?
No. The Press Room is a publishing tool. Paste or type content you already prepared.
Does every press story get a public link?
Yes. Each published story has its own shareable page.

Privacy & Security

How are passwords stored?
Passwords are hashed using PHP password hashing and are never stored as readable text.
Are forms protected against cross-site requests?
Yes. State-changing forms use CSRF tokens, and database access uses prepared statements.
Can uploaded PHP files run from the upload directory?
The included Apache rules block PHP-like files in storage. Hosting rules should be verified after installation.

Public Profiles

Does every profile have a shareable link?
Yes. Each public profile has a unique URL that can be copied and shared.
Can I add social, streaming, store, and payment links?
Yes. Add custom buttons for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, social media, booking, stores, donations, payment pages, portfolios, and any valid URL.
Can I hide my page?
Yes. Turn off public visibility from the website editor without deleting your content.
Can I change my public page address?
Yes, provided the new page slug is not already in use.

Resource Center

What are Resource Guides?
Resource Guides are practical articles and checklists that explain documents, pricing, contracts, recordkeeping, websites, and professional workflows.

SEO

Is the site SEO compatible?
The platform includes editable titles, descriptions, slugs, canonical URLs, public content pages, and a structure suitable for XML sitemaps and structured data.
Can each press story and opportunity be indexed separately?
Yes. Each public item has its own permanent URL and page metadata fields.

Support

How do I request a new document template?
Contact the platform owner or authorized document manager. New templates can be added from the admin portal.
What should I do after installation?
Delete or rename install.php, enable HTTPS, configure scheduled backups, test uploads and payments, review legal pages, and create a non-owner moderator account for testing.

Websites

Can the owner duplicate one website into many websites?
Yes. The Website Manager can copy a source profile structure into a new client account, with optional public links and press stories. Private documents are never copied.
Can I add pages to the main platform?
Yes. Authorized administrators can create unlimited main-site pages, set custom URLs, publish or archive them, and add them to header or footer menus.
Can I use my own domain?
The architecture supports custom-domain expansion, but DNS mapping and automated SSL depend on the hosting environment and should be configured before selling that feature.
